Now, we have a direct plug pressure switch for the installation of the Audi LED emblem. This means you can simply plug it in without identifying which wire is correct. Currently, the wire is suitable for three models.

Compatibility
It fits for most Audi cars listed in our options. You can choose from our options or consult us to check if it fits your car’s model and year.

Where do you find the plug to connect?

When you open the hood, you will find two plugs in the right corner. One plug connects to the LED emblem, and the other connects to the Pressure Switch.

Pressure Switch Connector Functionality

The main purpose of the Pressure Switch Connector for the Audi LED Emblem is to provide the easiest installation method (plug-and-play).

However, the drawback is that the Pressure Switch connection only controls the power based on the engine’s status, not the car’s lock status.

  • When you start your car, the emblem receives power and cycles through its three startup animations one by one, in order. Each time you start the car, only one of the three animations will display.
  • When you turn off your car: The emblem’s power is cut immediately, causing it to turn off directly without performing the lock animation.

Why the Lock Animation Is Missing

To get the lock animation (which you can see in the attached video), the emblem needs to be connected to a power source that remains active until the doors are locked and the car’s electronics fully shut down.

In short: The easy plug-and-play installation with the Pressure Switch sacrifices the lock animation feature.

To enable the lock animation, you can still use the primary plug to connect the red and black wires. However, the white wire must be wired separately to the car’s battery.
