This is the installation instruction for the 3rd Generation Dynamic Audi LED Emblem for Q4 e-tron, Q5 e-tron, Q6 e-tron, and Q8 e-tron. Upon receiving the package, you will find two items: the front LED emblem and a black power box. It is essential to connect the black box to the LED emblem. While the emblem can light up without the power box, the power supply will not be stable, making the black box necessary. Ensure the arrow direction connects to the LED emblem.
During installation, take care to avoid the radar located behind the emblem, and most importantly, keep the wires away from the front of the emblem. Properly arrange the black power box and the wires.

- Remove the original logo, starting from the bottom middle and avoiding the right upper corner catch.
- Replace and install the illuminated logo.
- Route the power harness away from the radar location and secure the power module.
- Connect the black wire to the negative terminal.
- Connect the positive terminal to the front fuse box at 15A.
How to select the correct 15A Fuse Slot:
The most reliable method is to use a voltage tester (test pen). You are looking for a “switched” power source:
- Ignition ON: The tester should light up (power is present).
- Ignition OFF: The tester should remain unlit (no power).
Once you find a slot that follows this pattern, you have identified the correct fuse location for your LED emblem.

Q: Why does the LED emblem stay on after I turn off the car?
A: When connected to the fuse box, the emblem is synced with your vehicle’s power cycle. Most Audi etrons models have a 4-minute power delay. This means the LED will remain illuminated for approximately 4 minutes after the ignition is turned off until the vehicle’s electrical system fully enters “sleep mode.” This is a normal function of the car’s power management and will not drain your battery.
